Position Overview

We’re looking for a motivated and creative Junior Marketing Associate to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their marketing career who is eager to gain hands-on experience in digital content creation, brand storytelling, and community engagement.

In this role, you’ll support day-to-day marketing efforts including social media management, content creation, photography, and promotional materials. You’ll work closely with leadership to help build brand awareness and strengthen our presence in the local community.

This is a part-time flexible position (no more than 25 hours per week) with the opportunity to grow as the company grows.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in managing day-to-day social media activity across platforms like Facebook and Instagram
Plan, draft, and schedule engaging social content using tools such as Meta Business Suite or Buffer
Capture and organize photos of projects, team members, and events
Support the creation of graphics and visual content using Canva or similar platforms
Assist in writing and editing content for email campaigns, blog posts, and website updates
Help develop digital and print marketing materials (flyers, brochures, signage, etc.)
Support event promotion and community engagement initiatives
Track basic analytics and help identify opportunities to improve engagement and reach
Contribute fresh ideas to marketing campaigns and brand storytelling efforts

What We’re Looking For

1-3 years of experience in marketing, communications, social media, or a related field
Strong written communication skills with attention to detail
Comfort using social media platforms and basic design tools (e.g., Canva, Meta Business Suite, Buffer)
Organized, dependable, and able to manage multiple tasks
A positive, proactive attitude and willingness to learn

Bonus Points For

Experience with email marketing platforms (such as Mailchimp)
Basic photography skills
Interest in construction, remodeling, or the home improvement industry
Familiarity with SEO basics or website content updates
