Wild Finch is seeking a dependable and hardworking Part-Time Porter (Dishwasher) to support culinary operations in Pagosa Springs, Colorado. Wild Finch blends regional Colorado ingredients with global inspiration, creating dishes that feel both familiar and unexpected in a welcoming, elevated dining environment.

Your Future Career
Dishwashing & Sanitation
- Operate commercial dishwashing equipment to clean and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans.
- Follow proper wash, rinse, and sanitize procedures in accordance with health and safety regulations.
- Ensure all cleaned items are properly stored and organized.
- Maintain continuous dish flow during peak service periods.
Kitchen & Facility Cleanliness
- Keep dish area clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Remove trash and recycling regularly and transport to designated areas.
- Sweep, mop, and maintain cleanliness of kitchen floors and work areas.
- Assist with deep cleaning tasks and end-of-shift breakdown procedures.
Operational Support
- Support kitchen team with basic prep tasks as directed.
- Assist with receiving and organizing deliveries when needed.
- Maintain adequate levels of clean cookware and service items for uninterrupted operations.
- Communicate equipment issues or supply shortages to leadership promptly.
Safety & Compliance
- Follow proper chemical handling, sanitation standards, and OSHA guidelines.
- Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
- Adhere to HACCP and local health department standards at all times.
Team Collaboration
- Work cooperatively with culinary and service teams to support smooth operations.
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude during high-volume periods.
Support additional duties as assigned to meet operational needs.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous dishwashing or kitchen experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to cleanliness and sanitation standards.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Availability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and peak seasons.
Physical & Work Environment Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods throughout a shift.
- Ability to frequently lift, push, pull, or carry items up to approximately 50 pounds.
- Ability to work in a hot, wet, and fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Exposure to cleaning chemicals and commercial kitchen equipment.
