Are you hands-on, safety-conscious, and ready to be part of a fast-paced production team? At our Bethel facility, we’re looking for a Kettle Operator to help bring our delicious kettle chips to life. From handling raw potatoes to assisting in the frying process, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring every chip meets our high-quality standards.

What You’ll Do:

  • Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), food safety protocols, and company policies.

  • Stay sharp on fire safety procedures and use of fire suppression equipment.

  • Operate and maintain material handling equipment including stretch wrappers, pallet jacks, forklifts, and loaders.

  • Work with raw product—sorting, peeling, inspecting, and preparing it for frying.

  • Prepare kettles for start-up and shut down operations.

  • Monitor and maintain frying oil levels and quality in kettles.

  • Calibrate and adjust slicer heads and blade gaps using tools provided.

  • Operate machinery safely and efficiently while using proper personal protective equipment (PPE).

  • Perform routine equipment checks and report issues to maintenance.

  • Communicate effectively with team members to keep the process running smoothly, including covering breaks or lunches.

  • Maintain a clean and safe workspace, including regular waste removal and equipment sanitation.

  • Complete accurate production documentation and reports.

  • Follow all regulatory guidelines to ensure our products are safe and high-quality.

  • Engage in ongoing training and improvement initiatives to sharpen your skills.

  • Work comfortably in a fast-paced, high-heat, and oily environment.

  • Take on additional responsibilities as assigned by leadership.

What You Bring:

  • High school diploma or GED.

  • Experience in food manufacturing or a related setting is a plus.

  • Familiarity with food processing equipment and procedures.

  • Understanding of basic food safety and hygiene practices.

  • Physical stamina to lift heavy items and stay on your feet for long periods.

  • Great attention to detail and ability to follow directions.

  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

  • Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends.
