Martinsville, VA Area | Full-Time or Part-Time Compensation: $48–$55/hr (based on experience)
What You’ll Do
- Provide evaluation and treatment for adult/geriatric residents with communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders
- Collaborate with PT, OT, nursing, dietary and medical staff to deliver coordinated, holistic care
- Develop individualized treatment plans that honor each resident’s goals and abilities
- Maintain accurate documentation with adequate time built into your schedule
- Participate in care planning meetings and family education as needed
What We’re Looking For
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current VA SLP license, CCC
- Passion for working with older adults
- Experience with IDDSI diets and dysphagia is preferred, though we can train
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
- Commitment to compassionate, evidence-based care
