Job Summary
The Inventory Control Quality Assurance (ICQA) Supervisor is responsible for maintaining a high level of inventory accuracy in the warehouse by verifying the completeness and correctness of all orders filled. They must confirm accuracy and customer orders for shipment, ensuring that the correct number and type of product is loaded and shipped.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Supervision:
This position is frequently managed by the DC General Manager or Assistant DC Manager. This position supervises the Inventory Control Quality Control Team and Returns team.
Qualifications:
This position requires standing 20% of the day, light lifting (up to 50 pounds) for 10% of the day and stooping for 20% of the day.
The Inventory Control Quality Assurance (ICQA) Supervisor is responsible for maintaining a high level of inventory accuracy in the warehouse by verifying the completeness and correctness of all orders filled. Key Responsibilities Include:
- Participates in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals
- Monitoring and controlling inventory integrity by accurately and efficiently verifying items picked
- Maintain product identification and location program
- Research inventory discrepancies and ability to reconcile them in a timely manner
- Responsible for completing physical inventories/cycle counts/random or receipt audits/reconciliations
- Safely utilize forklifts and power jacks to move warehouse materials according to proper safety instructions and as directed
- Review inventory counts and balance accuracy, auditing adjustment report, second level report, negative on-hand report, lost sales report, and expired product report
- Keeping records of changes in inventory control best practices in order to educate staff and issue policy changes
- Preparing and maintaining records of all inventories
- Managing inventory control specialists and other personnel by setting schedules, monitoring performance and conducting reviews
- Identifying causes of issues and implementing process improvements
- Presenting reports and recommendations to sales leaders and management
- Ensuring that all employees are in compliance with all applicable health and safety regulations and other company-related policies and procedures
- As Supervisor participates in the selection process of new employees, advises and directs the teams; assists with performance appraisals; maintains assignment completion schedules; disciplinary problems are referred to a higher level. Performs similar and higher level tasks.

Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
- Safety
- Time management
- Willingness to learn computerized scanning device
- Three years in the Inventory and Quality Control Departments
This position requires standing 20% of the day, light lifting (up to 50 pounds) for 10% of the day and stooping for 20% of the day.
