Location: Onsite within 20 miles of Winona, MN 
Schedule: Monday–Friday, daytime hours
Pay: Starting at $24/hour
Employment Type: Full-time, Non-Exempt

About the Role

Itechra is looking for a hands-on, customer-focused IT Desktop Support Technician to support a local K–12 school and additional Itechra Managed IT Services clients.

About 70% of your time will be spent onsite at the school helping staff and students with their day-to-day technology needs. The remaining time will be spent assisting other clients with new device setups, onsite visits, and general IT support.

This is a great opportunity for someone with 1–2 years of IT experience who enjoys solving problems, working directly with people, and wants to grow into a higher-level technical role within 1–2 years. We’ll train you, support your certifications, and promote from within.

What You’ll Do

  • Set up and configure laptops, iPads, and Chromebooks for staff and students
  • Provide friendly, in-person tech support for hardware, software, and connectivity issues
  • Manage and track IT equipment and inventory
  • Support additional client sites with computer setups and basic troubleshooting
  • Collaborate with remote support technicians for escalated issues
  • Assist with basic networking and user account management
  • Keep clear documentation and communicate effectively with clients and team members

What We’re Looking For

  • 1–2 years of IT support or help desk experience (school or MSP experience is a plus)
  • Familiar with Windows, Chrome OS, and Microsoft 365
  • Strong troubleshooting and communication skills
  • Customer-focused and eager to learn new technologies
  • Reliable, self-motivated, and team-oriented
  • Able to lift/move equipment up to 50 lbs
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (company vehicle also available)
