Lake Regional Health System is seeking a professional Registered Dietitian in our Cardiac Rehabilitation Department.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics and/or Nutrition

Preferred: Registered Member of the American Dietetic Association. Licensed in the State of Missouri

ACLS strongly encouraged

Essential Duties of the Job:

Provides medical nutrition therapy for clients with cardiac disease by providing them with a meal plan and self-management tools that support improvement in lipid levels and risk factor management of cardiovascular disease.

Provides medical nutrition therapy for clients with pulmonary disease by providing them with in-depth nutrition guidance to meet their needs and to develop nutrition goals for the patient with COPD.

Plays an active role in assisting the interdisciplinary team in designing the optimal nutrition that coincides with the client's exercise plan and their medical prescriptions.

An annual influenza vaccination is required.
