About this position
We are a "Buy Here, Pay Here" car dealer where our primary responsibility is to sell vehicles directly to customers with poor credit or no credit history by providing in-house financing options and working with them to find a suitable car that fits their budget and credit situation; requiring strong customer service skills, understanding of credit challenges, and the ability to negotiate flexible payment plans.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Customer qualification: assess customer creditworthiness, income, and driving needs to identify suitable vehicles within their affordability range.
2. Vehicle presentation: demonstrate features and benefits of vehicles, highlighting key selling points to match customer requirements
3. Sales Negotiation: negotiate pricing, down payments, and payment perms with customers, considering their credit situation and financial constraints.
4. In-house financing: process loan applications through the dealership's internal financing program, explaining terms and conditions clearly.
5. Customer follow-up: maintain contact with customers post sale to ensure satisfaction and gather referrals.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
