Head Baseball Coach / Athletic Director
Key Responsibilities: Guide/lead the pitchers in high school. Design/Install and install a throwing program and training routine for the off-season. Work closely with the head coach to establish roles for each pitcher in the program. Plan scouting reports for region opponent hitters. Work closely with the head coach to make in-game decisions.
Athletic Development
Plan and lead pitching instruction during team practices, bullpen sessions, and in the preseason and off-season.
• Teach proper pitching mechanics, arm care, conditioning, and recovery techniques
• Assist pitchers with game preparation, routines, and mental approach
• Collaborate with the Head Coach on pitch counts and player development
• Support injury prevention through age-appropriate training methods
• Assist during games as assigned
• Participate in coaches’ meetings and seasonal planning
• Support overall team goals and coaching philosophy
• Model Christ-like character, sportsmanship, and integrity
• Reinforce expectations for conduct, effort, and respect
• Pray with or for student-athletes when appropriate Requirements:
Qualifications
Required:
• Experience pitching or coaching at the high school or collegiate level
• Knowledge of pitching mechanics and arm health
• Alignment with the school’s Christian mission
Preferred:
• Previous school or competitive coaching experience
• Background in player development or arm-care programs
Requirements
