Rig Welder

MUST be located in the Odessa/Midland NOW area to apply (Independent Contractor)

• Apply in person or on Indeed, bring hood and gloves for welding test
• Must own portable welding rig, hood, gloves, torch, etc. including PPE
• CONTRACT LABOR
• Fabricate oilfield switch racks, and buildings
• Read drawings, take measurements, read isometrics, and install efficiently
• Lifting, Climbing Ladders, Painting, and working with insulation
• 3-5 Years Stick Welding Experience
• 3 Years Flux Core Experience
• Familiar with a torch, grinder, and chop saw
• Must be able to read, write & communicate in English
• Must be able to work with minimal supervision
• Actively participate in a strong safety culture
• Recognize safety hazards and risks
• Participate in onsite safety meetings
• Lifting and carrying awkward objects up to 60 lbs
• Standing for extended periods of time up to 12 hours per day.
• Moving the entire body. Considerable use of arms, legs, climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, crawling, twisting, reaching, and bending on a regular basis.
• Some Saturday's
• Work lights required

3-5 years of Stick Welding

2-5 years of Flux Core Experience

2-5 Years of Manufacturing Experience
