Description:

This role is responsible for the development, implementation, and oversight of a comprehensive family program, as well as providing clinical supervision to associate-level therapists. The position functions as both a senior clinician and a clinical supervisor, ensuring consistent family engagement, high-quality clinical services, and compliant supervision practices across substance use disorder and mental health programs and levels of care.

Requirements:

Family program development and oversight

  • Design, implement, and maintain a comprehensive family program serving both SUD and Mental Health populations
  • Develop a structured family curriculum inclusive of psychoeducation, skills development, and recovery support
  • Facilitate family groups and multifamily groups
  • Establish and oversee structured family visitation, including expectations, boundaries, and therapeutic purpose
  • Ensure family programming is clinically appropriate and consistent across RTC and PHP/IOP levels of care

Direct clinical services

  • Provide family therapy sessions aligned with client treatment plans
  • Collaborate with primary therapists, medical providers, and the interdisciplinary team to coordinate family involvement
  • Complete timely, accurate, and compliant documentation for all family services

Clinical supervision

  • Serve as a clinical supervisor for associate-level therapists (AMFT, ACSW, APCC)
  • Provide scheduled individual and/or group supervision, case consultation, and clinical guidance
  • Oversee and supervise documentation quality and clinical decision-making
  • Track supervision hours and maintain supervision documentation in accordance with BBS requirements

Compliance and quality

  • Ensure all family programming and supervision practices align with Joint Commission standards, state regulations, and ethical requirements
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives related to family engagement and clinical outcomes

Licensure and qualifications

  • Active, unrestricted LMFT or LCSW
  • Eligible to provide clinical supervision under BBS standards
  • Experience with family systems work, group facilitation, and SUD and/or mental health treatment
  • Experience in RTC and PHP/IOP settings preferred


Salary Information

$110000.00 - $140000.00 Annual Salary
