Position: Hybrid Outside Sales & Inside Parts Counter Sales

Key Responsibilities:
Inside Parts Counter Sales
- Assist customers in-store and over the phone with identifying, selecting, and purchasing automotive parts.
- Provide expert-level product knowledge and troubleshooting guidance.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient parts counter workspace.
- Process orders, returns, special orders, and inventory requests accurately.
- Deliver outstanding customer service in every interaction.
Outside Sales
- Build and maintain strong relationships with commercial accounts, including repair shops, fleets, and local businesses.
- Visit customers regularly to assess needs, promote products, and grow sales volume.
- Identify new business opportunities and follow through with effective sales strategies.
- Represent Wilson’s NAPA brand professionally in the field.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of automotive industry experience (parts knowledge strongly preferred).
- Excellent communication and customer service skills—friendly, professional, and solutions-oriented.
- Strong sales skills highly desired, but ambition, drive, and high energy can make up for less experience.
- Ability to multitask in a busy environment and maintain attention to detail.
- Basic computer and point-of-sale skills.
- Must be comfortable with both inside and outside customer interactions.
- Valid driver’s license with a good driving record (for outside sales duties).
Schedule Requirements
- Must be available for weekend shifts as needed.
- Must be available for early evening/closing shifts on rotation.
Compensation & Benefits
- Hourly pay + commission.
- Starting pay typically around $40,000 annually, with potential to reach $60,000+ based on experience and performance.
