About this position
Description:
We’re a fast-paced countertop fabrication shop looking for a skilled 2nd Shift Industrial Maintenance Technician to keep our equipment running safely and efficiently. If you enjoy troubleshooting, preventing downtime, and working hands-on with industrial machines, we want to meet you.
Schedule
- 2nd Shift: (example) Monday–Friday, 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM
- (Some overtime may be available/required depending on workload)
What You’ll Do
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial equipment used in countertop fabrication
- Perform preventative maintenance (PMs) on saws, CNC machines, polishers, routers, compressors, dust collection systems, etc.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues
- Reduce downtime through fast, accurate troubleshooting and root-cause fixes
- Maintain safe work practices and follow lockout/tagout procedures
- Track repairs, parts usage, and maintenance logs
- Work closely with production leadership to prioritize equipment needs
- What We’re Looking For
Required:
- 2+ years of industrial maintenance experience (manufacturing or fabrication environment preferred)
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Basic electrical knowledge (motors, sensors, relays, VFD basics, wiring, etc.)
- Comfortable using hand tools, meters, and diagnostic equipment
- Ability to work independently and stay productive without constant supervision
- Reliable attendance and strong safety mindset
Preferred:
- Experience with CNC machinery or stone/countertop equipment
- Welding (MIG/TIG) and basic fabrication skills
- PLC troubleshooting experience
- Experience with dust collection systems and air compressors
- Forklift or lift certification
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, climb, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to work around loud equipment, dust collection systems, and moving machinery
- Ability to work safely in an industrial environment

- 2+ years Previous experience in commercial or industrial maintenance is required
- Good mechanical aptitude
- Self-Starter that can work on their own
- Open to working 2nd shift
- Training on 1st shift
- Driver’s License
