Regal Research & Mfg. Co. is a high-tech contract manufacturer known for precision, problem-solving, and some of the most modern fabrication equipment in the industry. We are looking for a hands-on, mechanically inclined individual to join our 2nd shift team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with their hands, learning advanced manufacturing processes, and taking pride in doing things the right way.

What You’ll Do

  • Operate a variety of fabrication equipment including punches, lasers, press brakes, CNC mills, and welding machines
  • Use inspection tools and equipment to ensure quality and accuracy, including calipers, micrometers, tape measures, PCMMs, and similar tools
  • Assist with job setup and run production parts
  • Help develop, improve, and follow shop procedures to increase efficiency and consistency
  • Work with fixtures, tools, and jigs to support production
  • Participate in new part introductions, process improvements, and continuous improvement efforts

  • Hands-on training alongside experienced fabricators and technicians
  • Exposure to multiple departments to understand the full manufacturing process
  • One-on-one mentoring to learn machines, equipment, and shop practices
  • Access to official training, both online and in person, for specialized equipment or software as needed

Requirements:

 

What We’re Looking For

  • Comfortable using measuring tools and performing basic shop math, including trigonometry
  • Ability to read and follow technical drawings and blueprints
  • Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office, file management, and data entry
  • Willingness to split time between hands-on shop work and computer-based tasks
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Mechanically inclined and comfortable working with tools and equipment

Nice to Have, Not Required

  • CAD experience such as SolidWorks or similar software
  • CNC or programming experience including G-code or basic scripting
  • Familiarity with 3D printing or advanced manufacturing technologies
  • IT or technical troubleshooting experience


Salary Information

$16.00 - $23.00 Hourly Wage
