Major Areas of Responsibility:
- Receives, verifies, organizes, and stores tools, equipment, supplies, materials, and parts inventory.
- Monitors order-points, places, and expedites tooling and supplies orders.
- Work from blueprints, operation sheets, work instructions, and other specifications, to build required kits for manufacturing operations.
- Maintains inventory levels using spreadsheets and databases.
- Works with Purchasing to procure of perishable and non-perishable tooling.
- Quotes special tooling needs for manufacturing process.
- Performs tool sharpening.
- Assists with troubleshooting using tooling vendors for support.
- Inspects and measures tools and equipment for defects and wear.
- Packs and washes/preserves parts as needed.
- Performs other machining and assembly operations as needed
- Interacts with associates from all departments.
- Performs other related duties as required.
- Deliver tool kits and miscellaneous supplies to various machines on the manufacturing floor.
- Cross train for other functions within the department.
- Potential to become Forklift certified.
Requirements:
- One to two years prior experience in a tool crib environment
- Strong communication and analytical skills.
- Must be able to read and write comments, understand operation sheets, blueprints, and specifications. Required PC Skills including Microsoft Office and Excel.

$25.0 - $27.0
Annual Salary
