About this position

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Install, relocate, remove, and maintain surveillance related equipment to maintain to assure appropriate property wide camera coverage and compliance with internal controls and gaming regulations.
  • Repair and maintain access control equipment.
  • Maintain appropriate documentation and records in order to comply with state and internal regulations.
  • Maintain an inventory of CCTV equipment.
  • Research, analyze, and make recommendations on best practices and equipment.
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of gaming regulations, company policy, and department procedures.
  • Maintain compliance with surveillance department procedures and company policy.
  • Work on special projects as assigned by supervisor.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality in all company matters.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical and electronic surveillance equipment malfunctions with minimal guidance or assistance.
  • Perform preventative maintenance scheduled for the surveillance equipment.
  • Regular cleaning and maintenance of surveillance equipment.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required. 
  • Two (2) year Electronic Degree is preferred or equivalent experience in CCTV, electrical maintenance and repair.
  • One (1) to three (3) years of experience with installation, repair, maintenance, and trouble-shooting of CCTV digital equipment.
  • Must be able to successfully complete and maintain the background check and licensing process, required by the Delaware Lottery during employment.
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule according to business needs, including evenings, weekends, holidays and overtime.
  • Knowledge of analog and IP cameras.
  • Knowledge of basic Windows programs.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of energy and take a proactive and strategic approach to dealing with issues.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with team members at all levels of the organization.
  • Follow instructions given by supervisors.
  • Ability to use hand tools and electronic testing devices
  • Experience using lifts and ladders.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills (i.e. technical statements)
  • Ability to read simple instructions, schematic diagrams and blue prints.
  • Ability to troubleshoot electronic systems.
  • Ability to perform assigned duties under frequent time pressure in an interruptive environment.
