Our “Circle of Care” connects patients with a comprehensive range of services—so care is coordinated, convenient, and close to home.What You’ll DoAs a Patient Care Coordinator, you are often the first point of contact for our patients—setting the tone for a welcoming, smooth visit. Responsibilities include:Greet patients in person and by phone in a friendly, professional mannerRegister new patients and verify/update demographics for existing patientsComplete pre-visit planning, including:Collecting updated insurance informationPerforming insurance verificationUpdating patient records accuratelyCollect copays and payments as neededAnswer inbound calls to schedule appointments and route questions appropriatelyServe as a liaison between patients and clinical staffMake outbound calls to schedule appointments and support clinic needsMaintain a clean, organized front office and complete daily administrative tasksMaintain confidentiality and follow HIPAA guidelinesMeet or exceed established service standardsWork well independently and collaboratively as part of the clinic teamMaintain punctual, reliable attendance (essential for this role)What We’re Looking For (Required)High School Diploma or equivalentStrong computer skillsAbility to actively listen, communicate clearly, and provide empathetic serviceOrganized, detail-oriented, and comfortable multitaskingPreferred QualificationsCustomer service experience1–2 years of experience in a business office or clinical/medical settingEMR experience (Athenahealth practice management system preferred)Current BLS cardSome college (medical, business, or accounting focus)Benefits Offered for Full Time EmployeesHealth insurance plan options for you and your dependentsDental and vision coverage for you and qualified dependentsCompany-paid life insuranceVoluntary short-term and long-term disability optionsAFLAC plans401(k) eligibility after 6 months with 4% match (vests immediately)PTO accruedPhysical Requirements (Work Environment)Regularly required to stand, use hands, reach, and communicate in person/phoneOccasionally required to walk, sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawlFrequently lift/move up to 10 lbs; occasionally more than 25 lbsVision requirements include close/distance vision and ability to adjust focus
