Grand Villa of Deland is seeking a dedicated and reliable full-time Maintenance Assistant to join our team and help maintain the beauty and functionality of our exceptional property in Deland, Florida. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to a welcoming community environment while ensuring our facilities remain safe, attractive, and well-maintained.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on building systems, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry.

- Conduct regular inspections of the property to identify and address maintenance needs proactively.

- Assist with landscaping, groundskeeping, and outdoor maintenance tasks to preserve the property's aesthetic appeal.

- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from residents and staff, ensuring timely resolution.

- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, supplies, and repairs.

- Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies during all maintenance activities.

Skills and Qualifications:

- Proven experience in general maintenance, repair, or a related field.

- Knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC, and carpentry.

- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues efficiently.

- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

- Excellent communication skills and a customer service-oriented attitude.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Physical ability to perform manual tasks and lift heavy objects as needed.

- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred.
