About this position
Other responsibilities include:
- Provide trainings, initial consultations, equipment demonstrations and technical support to individuals who need occupational therapy and assistive technology, including family members, service providers, and other referral sources
- Maintain daily, quarterly, and evaluation report documentation in a timely fashion
- Scheduling appointments and returning informational seeking phone requests
Education: Master’s degree, Certification in occupational therapy, and appropriate NY state licensure.
Knowledge of: Occupational diagnostic and treatment clinical procedure; assistive technology access and writing devices, strategies, interventions, and computer applications; Functions of assistive technology devices; knowledge of federal and state regulations; knowledge of funding.
Kind and Length of Experience: 2-3 years’ experience preferred as an occupational therapy practitioner and/or assistive technology service provider, but entry level graduates also considered.

Rate of Pay: $55.00 Per Hour
