Saw Operator – 2nd Shift | $20–$22/hr. + 15% Shift Premium | St. Louis, MO
The Gund Company is hiring a Saw Operator to join our St. Louis manufacturing team! This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for someone looking to start or grow a career in manufacturing with strong pay, benefits, and a team-focused culture.
Shift: 2nd Shift (2:00 PM – 10:30 PM, Mon–Fri)
Pay: $20–$22/hour + 15% shift premium
Location: 2121 Walton Rd., St. Louis, MO 63114
What You’ll Do
- Operate manual saws and cutting equipment (Table Saw, Chop Saw, Band Saw, Panel Saw, etc.)
- Secure materials and verify proper machine setup
- Read and follow work orders and basic blueprints
- Perform simple assembly tasks using hand tools and painting accessories
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area
- Support production goals with accuracy and attention to detail
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in manufacturing or machining is helpful—not required
- Mechanical aptitude and eagerness to learn
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to producing quality work
- Desire to grow into a Subject Matter Expert (SME)
