CNC Operator – 1st Shift | $23/hr.+ | St. Louis, MO
The Gund Company is hiring a CNC Operator to support our growing production team. We’re looking for reliable, detail-oriented operators who take pride in quality and want to grow their skills in a supportive, team-focused environment.
What You’ll Do
- Operate and set up CNC machines (lathe, mill, and/or multi-axis equipment)
- Read blueprints and follow machining instructions
- Perform quality checks using calipers, micrometers, and gauges
- Troubleshoot basic machine issues and make minor adjustments
- Maintain accuracy, documentation, and a clean work area
- Work with your team to meet production and quality goals
What We’re Looking For
- CNC machining experience (lathe, mill, or both)
- Strong attention to detail and consistent quality
- Reliable, punctual, and able to follow work instructions
- Willingness to learn and cross-train
- Basic math and measuring skills
- Ability to work overtime as needed
Preferred Skills
- GD&T knowledge
- CNC programming or offset experience
- Manual machining background
