What you will do

A Foreman at HEI is the crucial link between management and the field, leading daily operations, keeping projects on track, and ensuring top-tier quality and safety on every job site.

$70,000 - $90,000 yearly

• Inspect, maintain and repair structures
• Fabricate rafters, partitions, stairways, and window and door frames
• Quantify, shape, cut, and smooth carpentry materials
• Certify drywall, roofing, and flooring are level and compatible

Must haves

• Leadership and mentorship for crews, including morning huddles and daily direction
• Planning and coordination of tasks, schedules, and materials
• Quality control and safety enforcement to meet standards and regulations
• Clear communication between management and team members
• Problem-solving to address delays, errors, or job site challenges quickly

• Driver’s license required
• Proficient in carpentry tools, techniques, and materials
• Precise measuring and math skills are required
• We prefer if you have a high school diploma or GED

Schedule and pay

• Monday 7 to 4. Tuesday through Friday, 8 to 4.
• Most work within twenty-five miles of central Fort Wayne. Some travel beyond that radius with travel pay.
• Pay range is thirty-five to forty-five dollars per hour based on experience and performance.
