Who You Are…
The Inventory Control Support Specialist plays a critical role in supporting warehouse and distribution operations by assisting with the accurate handling, storage, and movement of client inventory. You are dependable, hardworking, and take pride in maintaining organization, accuracy, and safety in a fast-paced warehouse environment. You are detail-oriented, reliable, and comfortable working both independently and collaboratively.
A strong commitment to safety, cleanliness, and following established procedures is essential. Success in this role comes from maintaining accurate inventory records, supporting daily warehouse operations, and contributing to a positive team environment focused on quality service and customer satisfaction.

Key Competencies and Requirements
- 1+ year of experience in warehouse or inventory-freight operations preferred
- Proficiency with basic computer applications, including Microsoft Office and warehouse management systems (WMS/EDI)
- Adherence to all safety regulations, including wearing vests, steel-toed shoes, and safety glasses
- Successfully complete drug screening and background checks (PWS, TSA, and US Customs)
- Participate in written and practical forklift assessments; forklift experience required
- Maintain high standards of professionalism, including dress, attitude, and work ethic
- Contribute to a collaborative, team-oriented working environment
- Follow warehouse SOPs and client-specific procedures to ensure consistent service
- Physical requirements: lift, carry, and move materials up to 50 lbs; stand, walk, and perform tasks for extended periods; comfortable with repetitive movements in an active warehouse environment
- Ability to work on-site in Hanover, MD
- Availability to work Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Responsibilities
- Inspect, receive, and put away all inbound client material
- Operate WMS/EDI systems to enter receiving and picking orders, generate reports, and maintain accurate inventory
- Pick, label, stage, and enter outbound shipping orders
- Conduct physical inventory and cycle counts to ensure accuracy
- Perform general warehouse duties, including dimming, weighing freight, labeling, and putting cargo away
- Maintain continuous communication with clients regarding order status, updates, or issues
- Process daily shipments with UPS WorldShip and LTL carriers
- Work closely with co-workers to meet client requests in a timely manner
- Keep warehouse and work areas clean and organized
- Follow all warehouse standard operating procedures, security measures, and PWS safety protocols
- Offer suggestions to improve the work environment and operational standards
- Adjust to a fast-paced and evolving set of duties

Individual compensation packages are based on skill set, experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors.
- Hourly compensation: $22–$27, depending on experience
