Senior Production Supervisor

What you’ll do:
The Senior Production Supervisor is responsible for driving operational excellence, leadership development and performance consistency across a multi-shift manufacturing operation at ARMOR-IIMAK’s Hebron, KY facility. This role provides direct leadership, coaching and support to shift supervisors while ensuring alignment and execution of Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost (SQDC) objectives.
Reinforce safety expectations and accountability across shiftsEnsure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirementsLead or work with Safety leader on incident follow-up and corrective action implementationPromote proactive safety engagement and observationDrive reduction of discrepancies, scrap and reworkEnsure adherence to standard operating proceduresMonitor trends and implement corrective action plansSupport cost containment through execution disciplineProvide daily operational oversight across all production shiftsEnsure consistent execution of production plans and attainment targetsMonitor and drive performance against Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost KPI’sCoordinate labor allocation to optimize staffing efficiencyLead shift performance reviews and escalation managementStandardize communication between shiftsLead and standardize onboarding and training execution for all new production employeesEnsure new hires are trained consistently across all shifts using approved training standards and work instructionsPartner with supervisors to meet training deadlinesReduce early-stage quality defects and safety risks through effective oversightSupport development of standardized work and training materials updates and improvementsWork with Plant Manager and Continuous Improvement Engineer on execution of continuous improvement initiatives Who you are:You have experience in Operational Leadership with an emphasis on Training You are comfortable promoting data driven decision making at the supervisory levelYou are a good communicator both verbally and in writing You have previous experience managing direct reports What you have: 3-5 years in a Supervisory capacity in an industrial manufacturing environment. Degree in applicable field preferredContinuous Improvement mindsetFlexibility to work an altered schedule as needed to accommodate business needsTeam player and willing to work with minimal supervision Excellent problem-solving skills and communication skills
