Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly skilled and versatile Mechatronics Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate brings a strong multidisciplinary background in electronic and mechanical design. This role involves taking a concept from design through prototyping, production, and supplier management, turning innovations into manufactured medical devices that enable better patient care.




Qualifications & Skills:

Electronics Design:

  • Strong experience designing electronic circuits and PCB layouts

  • Proficiency with schematic capture and PCB design tools (Altium, KiCad, Eagle, or equivalents)

  • Knowledge of analog and digital circuits, power management, and sensor integration

  • Experience with microcontrollers, embedded systems, and firmware development

Mechanical Design:

  • Solid understanding of mechanical components and enclosure design for medical devices

  • Proficiency in CAD software (such as SolidWorks)

  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes, including injection molding, CNC machining, and 3D printing

Production & Procurement:

  • Experience with supplier selection and component sourcing

  • Familiarity with Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) principles

  • Ability to collaborate with contract manufacturers and oversee production processes

Regulatory & Compliance:

  • Familiarity with medical device regulations (e.g. FDA, ISO 13485,ISO 9001, IEC 60601-1)

  • Experience with risk assessment and verification/validation testing




Soft Skills & Work Approach:

  • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities from design to production

  • Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability in a fast-paced environment

  • Collaborative team player who can work effectively alongside cross-functional stakeholders (software engineers, clinicians, manufacturing partners)

  • Excellent documentation skills for technical reports, bills of materials, and regulatory compliance

  • Proactive mindset with strong attention to detail and a relentless focus on cost and performance optimization




Preferred Experience:

  • 3+ years of experience in medical device design or related fields

  • Experience designing, prototyping, and launching new medical devices

  • Experience with wireless communication (Bluetooth, WiFi) and sensor integration is a plus

  • Knowledge of biomechanics, optics, or imaging technologies is advantageous
