Machine Operator I

Objective: Operates and maintains cutting, slicing, and packaging machinery used in fresh-cut produce manufacturing. Ensures the equipment is running smoothly, and that product quality is maintained during production. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure to follow proper safety protocols and sanitation guidelines.
• Report any production issues or safety concerns to management.
• Set up and operate fresh-cut production machinery, such as slicers, dicers, and peelers.
• Monitor equipment for signs of malfunction or wear, and report issues to maintenance.
• Adjust machinery settings to ensure proper cut sizes and product quality.
• Ensure the work area is clean and all safety protocols are followed.
• Trained on operations LOTO

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in operating manufacturing equipment, especially in food production, is preferred.
• GED or high school diploma
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

• Operates with the utmost integrity and trust
• Sound judgement and decision making
