Job Summary:
With the expansion of LCDF services as a newly designated Certified Behavioral Health Community Center, we are creating an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) team. For this position there will be a combination of duties related to both driving and tech for the intensive outpatient program. The individual’s primary duties are associated with the transportation of the IOP patients to and from home and the program. The individual’s secondary duties are to support the IOP therapist in monitoring and managing patients’ behaviors in IOP groups. Individuals will support in crisis situations to implement de-escalation techniques and ensure a safe and healthy environment for patients. Individuals will also escort patients to and from group rooms, restrooms, and lobbies.
- Demonstrate ability to work with multi-disciplinary adult recovery teams.
- Knowledge of New Mexico behavioral health systems.
- Good written and communication skills.
- Uses good judgment as it relates to client care.
- Knowledge of confidentiality, ethics and boundary issues.
- Hold a high school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Have at least one year of relevant experience working with clients with substance or alcohol use.
