Job Description: Senior EPC Project Manager – Utility Scale Solar

Location: Illinois (Travel as needed)
Compensation: $145K–$175K
Start Date: Immediate

Overview:

We are looking for a Senior EPC Project Manager to oversee multiple utility-scale solar projects and manage a team of EPC Project Managers. This role requires 5+ years of experience in EPC-level solar project management and a proven ability to lead large, complex projects from inception to completion.

Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic oversight for multiple EPC solar projects.
• Mentor and manage EPC Project Managers and supporting staff.
• Coordinate design, permitting, procurement, construction, and closeout phases.
• Ensure budget adherence, cost forecasting, and financial health reporting.
• Oversee procurement and subcontracting, ensuring timely execution and mobilization.
• Maintain project schedules, production tracking, and reporting to stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with contract documents and manage formal notices/change orders.
• Act as primary point of contact for client communication and stakeholder engagement.
• Drive continuous improvement in QA/QC, safety, and project delivery performance.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of EPC-level solar project management experience.
• Strong leadership and mentoring skills.
• Deep understanding of utility-scale solar construction and EPC processes.
• Ability to travel as needed; open to relocation.
• PMP certification preferred; OSHA 30 a plus.
• Familiarity with major EPC contractors and renewable energy best practices.
