Pay Rate: $16.50 an hour- Guaranteed Progression:50-cent per hour increases at 90 days, 1 year, and annually thereafter for a total of 5 years, reaching the maximum rate at 5 years in this role.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Paint pallets as part of the overall quality repair and finishing process
- Operate and maintain pallet painting equipment to ensure consistent application
- Mix paint accurately using basic math skills to meet required specifications
- Ensure CHEP and other customer pallets meet quality and compliance standards
- Inspect finished pallets to confirm proper coverage and finish
- Follow all safety procedures when working with paint and equipment
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Support overall warehouse and pallet operations as needed
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members
- Maintain reliable attendance — attendance is an essential function of this position
- Perform all other duties as assigned to support business needs
- Reporting relationships, work assignments, and schedules may change to meet operational needs.

Physical Requirements:
This position requires the ability to perform a variety of physical tasks in a warehouse environment:- Stand, walk, bend, stoop, reach, and lift for extended periods throughout the shift.
- Repeatedly lift and move heavy materials, including wooden pallets weighing up to 75 pounds.
- Demonstrate good manual dexterity for sorting, processing, and handling materials efficiently.
- Hear and understand verbal instructions, safety alarms, and other sounds in an active warehouse environment.
- Maintain clear vision for inspecting materials and observing surroundings to ensure safety.
- Work safely in an industrial setting where paint fumes are present (PPE provided).
- Successfully pass respirator health screening and fit testing as required.
- Be in reasonably fit condition to climb tank ladders and access lower-level sump areas in waste treatment or related zones.
Work Environment:
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee will primarily work in a warehouse environment. This may include exposure to dust, fluctuating temperatures (hot and cold), and moderate to high noise levels. Steel-toed boots and other personal protective equipment (PPE) will be required.
