F & B Set Up

The DoubleTree Hotel of Tinton Falls is seeking candidates for the position of Food & Beverage Set-Up to join our award-winning team.

The role of Food & Beverage Set-Up is responsible you will be responsible for the timely setup, breakdown, and resetting of banquet and meeting spaces according to event specifications and hotel standards. 

Responsibilities include:

• Set up tables, chairs, stages, linens, and other equipment for banquets and meetings based on event orders
• Break down and store equipment after events, ensuring all items are accounted for and in good condition
• Assist banquet and service staff with any room setup changes during events
• Ensure cleanliness and readiness of event spaces before and after each function
• Maintain storage areas in a clean and organized manner
• Follow safety procedures and handle equipment with care
• Communicate with Banquet Captain or Manager regarding event needs and changes

Compensation and Benefits include:

• This position offers a starting rate of $15.92 per hour.
• Part time employees will have the opportunity to earn paid time-off and join the company's retirement plans (once qualified).

Job Qualifications & Skills:

• Previous experience in event setup or hospitality preferred but not required
• Ability to lift and move heavy furniture and equipment (up to 50 lbs)
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow directions
• Dependable team player with a positive attitude
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically active environment
