Behavior Specialist – Full Time (Mon–Fri, 8am–4pm), 40 Hours
Location: CCARC, Inc., New Britain CT
CCARC is seeking a dedicated Behavior Specialist to provide behavioral support to individuals with developmental disabilities. This role focuses on creating and monitoring positive behavior support plans, training staff, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure individuals receive the highest quality care.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct observations, assessments, and develop behavior support plans.
- Provide quarterly reports and participate in IP meetings.
- Train staff in proactive behavioral approaches.
- Maintain documentation and assist with PRC/HRC processes.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Psychology, Special Education, or related field (required).
- Experience with developmental disabilities and behavior analysis (preferred).
- Strong communication, documentation, and training skills.
- Valid CT driver’s license and reliable transportation.
