Primary Job Functions:

  • Properly clean and sanitize all dishes, glassware, utensils and pots.
  • Maintain a clean and organized dish room and dish machine.
  • Operate dish machines to company and manufacturer specifications.
  • Use proper measurements of detergent and sanitizer in the dish machine.
  • Restock all dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans.
  • Remove all garbage and linen.
  • Break down, clean and sanitize the dish machine at end of shift.
  • Keep storage areas and parking lot clean and organized.
  • Performs additional responsibilities, as requested by the management team at any time.

Requirements

Physical Demands

  • This position will spend 100% of the time standing and working in congested areas
  • Occasional environmental exposures to cold, heat, and water.
  • Must be able to withstand continuous walking, standing, bending and climbing stairs.
  • Must be able to lift and carry 50 pounds when needed.
  • Must be able to life, carry, push and/or pull up to 35 pounds regularly.
  • Smoking is not permitted on the premises.


Job Requirements:

  • Comprehensive understanding of the English language.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers and managers.
  • Required to work flexible shifts and schedules, including weekends and some holidays.
  • Required to purchase appropriate uniform upon hiring.
  • Knowledge of basic sanitary guidelines.
  • Knowledge of basic dish machine operations
