Primary Job Functions:
- Properly clean and sanitize all dishes, glassware, utensils and pots.
- Maintain a clean and organized dish room and dish machine.
- Operate dish machines to company and manufacturer specifications.
- Use proper measurements of detergent and sanitizer in the dish machine.
- Restock all dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans.
- Remove all garbage and linen.
- Break down, clean and sanitize the dish machine at end of shift.
- Keep storage areas and parking lot clean and organized.
- Performs additional responsibilities, as requested by the management team at any time.
Requirements
Physical Demands
- This position will spend 100% of the time standing and working in congested areas
- Occasional environmental exposures to cold, heat, and water.
- Must be able to withstand continuous walking, standing, bending and climbing stairs.
- Must be able to lift and carry 50 pounds when needed.
- Must be able to life, carry, push and/or pull up to 35 pounds regularly.
- Smoking is not permitted on the premises.
Job Requirements:
- Comprehensive understanding of the English language.
- Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers and managers.
- Required to work flexible shifts and schedules, including weekends and some holidays.
- Required to purchase appropriate uniform upon hiring.
- Knowledge of basic sanitary guidelines.
