Position Overview

MVD Express is seeking a strong operational leader to manage a hybrid Dealership and Tag Agency location. This role oversees a single branch that serves both individual retail customers and commercial account clients.

The Hybrid Manager is responsible for leading staff, ensuring financial accuracy, maintaining compliance with state regulations, and delivering exceptional customer service. This is a hands-on leadership role that requires confidence, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple service lines within one location.

What You Will Do

Lead the Location

• Oversee daily operations for both Dealers Services and Tag Agency services
• Supervise, coach, and develop branch employees
• Conduct employee evaluations and provide performance feedback
• Address employee relations matters and approve leave requests
• Hold regular team meetings and maintain accountability

Drive Financial Accuracy

• Balance daily transactions and reconcile funds
• Prepare and verify state deposits
• Monitor petty cash and change funds
• Manage accounts receivable for commercial clients
• Generate invoices and follow up on collections when necessary

Manage Commercial Accounts

• Build and maintain relationships with business clients
• Oversee fleet, title, and specialty transactions
• Monitor deadlines and compliance requirements
• Maintain accurate corporate account reporting

Ensure Compliance and Operational Excellence

• Maintain compliance with MVD policies and state regulations
• Communicate regulation updates to staff
• Ensure timely and accurate reporting
• Protect confidential customer and employee information

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of progressive management experience
• Strong knowledge of motor vehicle transactions including titles, VIN inspections, and liens a plus
• Valid Montana Driver's License required
• Ability to successfully pass a criminal background check
• Ability to successfully pass a motor vehicle record review
• Strong financial reconciliation and reporting skills
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to lead in a structured, high accountability environment
• Availability to work Monday through Saturday based on business needs

Physical Requirements / Essential Functions

• Must possess the necessary dexterity and fine motor skills to operate standard office equipment including telephone, computer, keyboard, printer, fax machine, and copier
• Ability to sit and stand for extended periods during the workday
• Ability to review detailed documents and computer screens for accuracy
