ITC is a Woman Owned Small Business delivering exceptional consultation to the U.S. Government in Systems/Software Engineering, Cybersecurity Solutions, Mission Operations/INTEL Analysis, and Management Services in order to enable our customers to solve the most challenging problems. With continued growth comes opportunity, and we are currently searching for a Top Secret SCI with polygraph-cleared Expert-Level Systems Engineer

Responsibilities:

  Technical Degree helpful. The last several members of the team have all had at least a Bachelor’s degree in engineering.

Provide standards for programs and engineers. Standards are both technical, logistical, building, and maintenance.

Provide support to the DoD IT Standards Registry (DISR). Write Change Requests (CRs) to include standards in the DISR. Provide Technical Working Group (TWG) support and vote on behalf of the Government. Review CRs for admission into the DISR. 

Maintain standards collections within the NSA/CSS Enterprise Standards Program (NESP) Registry/Collection. Keep up to date on efforts within the various standards development organizations. This sometimes involves downloading lots of standards.

Act as subject matter experts in the area of standards development. Assist subject matter experts and others in the development of standards. Provide assistance in adding these standards to the NESP repository and the DISR as needed.

Write and assist in the development of business cases to add standards to the NESP repository and the DISR. Assist in the governance and adjudication of these business cases.

Requirements:


  • TS/SCI with FS Polygraph
  •  A Bachelor's degree in a Qualified Engineering Field (See Note 1) or a related discipline (See Note 2) from an accredited college or university plus twenty (20) years of systems engineering experience or
  • A High School Diploma or GED plus twenty-four (24) years of general system engineering experience. or
  • A Master's degree in a Qualified Engineering Field (See Note 1) or a related discipline (See Note 2) from an accredited college or university plus eighteen (18) years of systems engineering experience. or
  • A PhD in a Qualified Engineering Field (See Note 1) or a related discipline (See Note 2) from an accredited college or university, plus eighteen (18) years of engineering experience. 

Note 1 – Examples of Qualified engineering fields include: Aeronautics, Biomedical, Chemical, Civil, Computer, Electrical, Environmental, Mechanical, Nuclear, Software, Systems, and Engineering Management. 

Note 2 – Examples of related disciplines include: Chemistry, Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, and Physics.

Many factors can influence final salary, including, but not limited to, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. Final salary can also be influenced by a position’s geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories, and contract wage rates.


The salary Range for this position is: $180-$240k
