Dental Assistant / Medical Assistant (No Experience Needed)

Location: SCHC – Redding, CA 96001 (Must be able to float between our clinics in Anderson, Shasta Lake, and Enterprise, CA)
Pay: $21.00 – $24.00 per hour

Schedule:

Full-time, Monday through Friday
8:00 AM – 5:00 PM or 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Who We’re Looking For

Minimum Requirements (Required):

High school diploma or equivalent
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Current CPR or BLS card (must remain active)
Proof of current immunizations and TB screening
Fluency in another language is a strong plus
Prior leadership experience REQUIRED (ex: lead, supervisor, trainer, shift lead, team lead, or similar)
Ability to float between our facilities in Anderson, Shasta Lake, and Enterprise, CA (reliable transportation required)

Certifications (Preferred, Not Required):

Medical Assistant Certification
Dental Assistant Certification
8-Hour Infection Control Certificate
California Dental Practice Act Certificate

Bonus Points For:

Familiarity with dental terminology and procedures
Healthcare or customer-facing experience (helpful, but not required)

Your Role in Action

As our Dental Assistant / Medical Assistant, you will:

Coordinate Preventative Dental Evaluations using tele-health platforms
Collect medical histories, capture diagnostic data, and organize patient records for remote dentist review
Serve as the primary point of contact for patients, guiding them through the virtual visit process and answering questions
Maintain accurate documentation while demonstrating professionalism, empathy, and confidentiality
