Key Responsibilities:

- Greet and assist visitors, clients, and staff in a courteous and professional manner

- Manage check-in and check-out processes efficiently

- Answer and direct incoming phone calls promptly and accurately

- Handle inquiries and provide information about the organization and services

- Maintain the reception area in a clean, organized, and welcoming condition

- Manage scheduling, appointments, and reservations as needed

- Perform administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and correspondence

- Ensure security protocols are followed and report any concerns to management


Skills and Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification is a plus

- Proven experience in customer service or front desk operations preferred

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and basic office equipment

- Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure

- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills

- Friendly, approachable demeanor with a positive attitude

Requirements:

 

Education & Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent (required)
     
  • Previous customer service or hospitality experience (preferred)
     
  • Prior front desk or reservations experience a plus

Job Knowledge

  • Experience with hotel reservation and property management systems, including PEP (Property Engagement Platform) and OnQ
     
  • Knowledge of check-in and check-out procedures
     
  • Understanding of room types, rates, and availability
     
  • Familiarity with billing, payments, and cash handling
     
  • Ability to handle guest requests, complaints, and special accommodations
     

Physical & Schedule Requirements

  • Ability to stand for extended periods
     
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
     
  • Flexible availability including weekends, holidays, evenings, and overnight shifts
