About this position

Summary/Objective:

The CAD Draftsman operates the CAD (Computer Aided Design) computer system, including creating, updating and modifying drawings and performs manual drafting.

The job responsibilities and requirements of the CAD Draftsman include, but are not limited to:

Creating CAD drawings for engineering projects.
Copying project drawings.
Creating CAD drawings for presenting to customers and sales
May interface with the general public in person and/or telephone, answers questions and directs to appropriate individual when necessary.
Performs other related duties, as assigned.

Job Requirements:

Must be diligent with good timekeeping abilities
Must have strong attention to detail
Must be flexible in performing other job responsibilities when the situation dictates.
REVIT 3D Modeling & Drafting Experience Preferred

3D Modeling experience preferred but willing to train.

Problem Solving/Analysis
Stainless Steel Food Service Equipment Experience Preferred
3D modeling software experience is a plus
Must be able to pass a drug test and background check

Required Education and Experience:

Associate degree or completion of a technical trade school in CAD, drafting or related field, plus at least three (3) years of related work experience; or any equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
