Full-Time/Non-Exempt/Great Falls

Job Duties:

  • Greets clients, verifies addresses, and payment sources.
  • While following existing Many Rivers policy, determines the most secure and efficient management of clinical records generated in the office.
  • Determines the most efficient method of scheduling/reconciling clinicians in the office.
  • Follows intake procedures and follow up procedures to assure proper billing and reimbursement of services.
  • Monitors and continually strives to improve a welcoming environment for clients and employees.
  • Performs clerical activity related to case file maintenance.
  • Assists co-workers and supervisor with duties as assigned and perform scanning duties.
  • May draft, type, proofread, and revise correspondence communications when necessary.
  • May handle communications, including telephone, mail, and receptionist duties.
  • May handle collections of copayments and performs closing procedures at the end of the day.
  • May pull files from closed files for other divisions.
  • May substitute for other workers as required.
  • Light housekeeping duties i.e., vacuuming, empty office trash cans.
  • Must have personal vehicle, valid vehicle insurance, and MT driver's license.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.

Minimum Qualifications: 

  • Thorough knowledge of standard business procedure, grammar, punctuation, and spelling.
  • Knowledge of alphabetical and numerical filing systems.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective work relationships with employees and the agency, to meet and deal effectively with a wide range of individuals; to compose effective routine correspondence and memoranda; to instruct others when applicable; to learn clerical tasks readily; to make routine decisions independently.
  • Must have skills in the use of normal office equipment and computers.
  • Excellent customer service and computer skills.
  • Graduation from high school/GED is required.
  • One to two years of business course work at a college or technical school, OR one to two years of experience in general office work or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
