Position Summary
The Guest Services Team plays a key role in creating memorable experiences for our guests at every stage of their stay. From the moment a reservation inquiry is received to the time guests check out, you are the first and last impression of our property. Guest Services Team Members oversee front desk operations, guest registration, and campsite escorts, while also assisting with store and firewood sales. Most importantly, you are the friendly, welcoming presence that ensures every guest feels valued and cared for throughout their visit.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional guest service in person and by phone with enthusiasm, attentiveness, and professionalism.
- Greet every guest with a smile and positive attitude, resolving concerns promptly and respectfully.
- Accurately process registrations, reservations, store sales, and refunds while following cash-handling and front desk procedures.
- Maintain inventory, restock supplies, and ensure cleanliness of the front office and store on a regular schedule.
- Support and coordinate on-site activities, including food service and themed events, ensuring a safe and enjoyable guest experience.
- Stay informed on company promotions, local attractions, and referral programs to actively promote guest participation and sales.
- Present a professional appearance at all times, including proper uniform and name tag.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support operations and the overall guest experience.
Qualifications
- Passion for customer service, hospitality, and the outdoors.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with point-of-sale systems and cash handling.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing, to perform the essential functions of the job (such as guest interactions, safety instructions, and documentation).
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs; regularly lift/carry 10 lbs and occasionally 25 lbs.
- Comfortable standing for long periods (up to 80%) and performing physical tasks such as bending, kneeling, crouching, and climbing.
- Able to operate a computer, including keyboard, mouse, and viewing a screen for extended periods.
