Phoenix Group of Virginia is seeking a detail-oriented Technographer to support Aircraft Carrier Refueling and Complex Overhaul (RCOH) Integrated Process Team (IPT) leaders. This role provides direct administrative, documentation, and meeting-capture support to ensure IPTs meet required goals, milestones, and deliverables.
The Technographer assists IPT leadership with meeting planning, agenda preparation, and execution support, while ensuring teams remain focused on stated objectives. This position is responsible for accurately capturing technical discussions, decisions, action items, and outcomes from complex program meetings and maintaining complete, retrievable records of team activities.
Technographer services primarily consist of serving as the official recorder for assigned RCOH IPT meetings and acting as the team historian for documentation retrieval and reference.
Primary Responsibilities
Support RCOH IPT leaders by preparing meeting agendas, coordinating logistics, and assisting with execution planningAttend technical and programmatic meetings and accurately capture discussions, decisions, action items, and outcomesProduce clear, concise, and accurate meeting minutes and technical recordsUtilize structured documentation techniques, including technical writing, flowcharting, brainstorming capture, affinity diagrams, and mind mappingMaintain organized records and documentation repositories for assigned IPTsEnsure records are complete, accurate, and available for historical reference and program auditsSupport fast-paced, high-visibility meetings involving senior military and civilian personnel
Position Requirements:
EducationHigh School diploma (or equivalent) plus four (4) years of relevant experience providing an understanding of:
Technical or operational principles, practices, and terminology
Scientific, technical, or social science environments or
Aircraft Carrier (CVN) equipment, systems, or shipboard operations
Military Experience:
Military experience is highly desiredFamiliarity with military operational environments strongly preferredAircraft Carrier, combat systems, or communications experience is highly desired
