Job Summary:

As a Journeyman Electrician, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems in accordance with local and national electrical codes. You will work on a variety of projects, ensuring safety, efficiency, and professionalism while meeting customer expectations. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical knowledge, troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment in commercial, and industrial settings.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine the layout of electrical systems.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical problems, implementing effective solutions while adhering to safety standards.
  • Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes and regulations.
  • Collaborate with other trades and team members to complete projects on time and within budget.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed, including time sheets, material usage, and work orders.
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns in a professional manner.
  • Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and advancements in electrical technology.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Journeyman Electrician license/certification (as required by state/local regulations).
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring methods, and safety procedures.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
  • Proficient in using electrical tools and testing equipment.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift heavy equipment and materials.

Frequently required to stand, walk, bend, squat, and reach.

Ability to work in various environments, including confined spaces and elevated heights.
