What You’ll Be Doing
Daily Maintenance & Repairs
- Work approximately 40 hours per week, including Saturday + Sunday
- Complete urgent maintenance tasks across the Sosuite portfolio
- Paint apartments regularly to keep them fresh, clean, and guest-ready
- Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, locks, appliances, fixtures, cabinets, furniture, and more
Unit Onboarding & Turnovers
- Help prepare newly furnished apartments for launch
- Assemble furniture, install fixtures and electronics, test appliances, hang artwork, wallpaper, paint, and ensure everything is Sosuite-perfect
- Support unit refreshes between stays when needed
Preventative Maintenance & Heavy Labor
- Conduct preventative maintenance walkthroughs
- Move furniture, mattresses, appliances, and equipment — sometimes up flights of stairs
- Assist with keeping tools and supplies organized, stocked, and neatly stored
Guest & Hospitality Support
- Respond to hospitality-related issues: stains, battery changes, locks, WiFi troubleshooting, light bulbs, and other quick-turn repairs
- Ensure units meet Sosuite’s standard of quality and presentation
Tools & Technology
- Use mobile apps to communicate with the team, receive assignments, document work, and manage your day
- Maintain your own tools (personal set required)
- Use personal vehicle for travel between properties (mileage reimbursed)
What You Need to Be Successful
- 1+ years of general maintenance or handyman experience
- You bring your own tools
- Valid Driver’s License, personal vehicle, and proof of insurance
- Experience with or willingness to learn HVAC, plumbing, electrical, smart locks, internet systems, and more
- Comfortable with smartphones and computer-based tools
- Highly organized, self-directed, and proactive
- Ability to take ownership of tasks and see them through
- Positive, team-oriented attitude — but also comfortable working independently
- Physical mobility: bending, kneeling, climbing, standing for long periods
- Ability to lift, push, and pull furniture and appliances

Compensation & Benefits
- W-2 full-time position (non-exempt)
- Pay: $19–$23/hour, based on experience
- Time-and-a-half overtime on Sosuite’s observed holidays (New Year’s, MLK Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas)
