SUMMARY: The EZ-CAP Technician I provides operational and administrative support for EZ-CAP, EZ-NET, and EZ-CARE systems, focusing on user access, data updates, request intake, and task tracking under established procedures.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
- Manages, tracks, and prioritizes inbound EZ-CAP support and project emails according to established procedures.
- Maintains staffing logs and workload reporting based on inbound email activity.
- Creates, updates, disables, and resets EZ-CAP, EZ-NET, and EZ-CARE user accounts per approved requests.
- Updates user access rights in accordance with security policies.
- Configures provider and vendor profiles using documented procedures.
- Updates member records in EZ-CAP per policy guidelines.
- Creates health plan records and benefit options using approved templates.
- Logs, tracks, and assigns all project and configuration requests.
- Provides administrative and operational team support.
- Gathers data and documentation for project and configuration work.
- Supports meeting scheduling, minutes, and action-item tracking.
- Maintains organized tracking and documentation records.
- Escalates complex issues to senior staff.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

- Entry-level problem-solving skills with appropriate escalation.
- Able to communicate basic technical information effectively.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, IT, or related field required.
- 1 year of experience in Managed Care or healthcare-related environment.
- EZ-CAP knowledge preferred but not required.
- Basic understanding of healthcare or system workflows.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Ability to follow documented procedures and manage tasks in a fast-paced environment.
