The Role
We are seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented Data Operations Analyst to join our growing team. Functioning closely as a Business Analyst, this early-career role offers a clear and exciting growth trajectory.
Initially, you will focus on mastering our data ecosystem, by collecting, entering, and cleaning data to support daily operations. As you learn our systems over the first few months, your responsibilities will expand into true business intelligence: transforming raw data into high-impact revenue dashboards and actionable insights.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Management & Integrity: Accurately enter, update, clean, and maintain data across various internal systems and platforms. Take ownership of specific operational data functions to ensure accuracy.
- Dashboarding & Reporting: Build, manage, and optimize revenue dashboards for both internal teams and external clients.
- Database Querying: Write and execute robust SQL and PostgreSQL queries to pull and manipulate back-end data necessary for reporting and analysis.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the Development, Product, and Management teams to ensure data integrity and align data projects with overarching business goals.
- Operational Support: Ensure timely and precise data input to enhance internal workflows and solve complex business problems.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Experience: 2–3 years of proven experience in a data analyst, business analyst, or data management role.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of SQL and PostgreSQL (or other relational databases).
- Business Intelligence: Hands-on experience with BI and data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
- Advanced Excel: Deep proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, advanced formulas, and VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP.
- Business Acumen: A solid understanding of general business operations, strategic objectives, and operational information flow.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate complex data findings for non-technical teams. Strong critical thinking, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or a related field (or equivalent practical work experience).
