Compassionate & Experienced Dementia Caregive

Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support to our client in Oswego, client has Dementia and Ideal caregiver- experience with dementia, calm, caring and matured. This is a companionship case to provide safety for client when sundowning. Client is female and mobile. Experience with dementia is very important due to sundowning.

Schedule- Monday 12pm to 5pm
Tues and wed 1pm to 5pm.

Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive and engaging environment.
- Implement and follow individualized care plans tailored to each client's needs.
- Support clients with mobility assistance, including lifting and transferring when necessary.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the client's living space to promote a safe environment.
- Document daily activities and any changes in client condition as per HIPAA regulations.
- Offer specialized care for individuals with dementia or other cognitive impairments.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients in home health or group home settings.
- Engage clients in social activities to encourage interaction and mental stimulation.

Qualifications
- Previous experience in senior care, home health, or long-term care settings is preferred.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to maintain client confidentiality is essential.
- Direct support for individuals with disabilities is a plus.
- Ability to lift and assist clients safely while adhering to proper lifting techniques.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Compassionate demeanor with a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours as needed.
