About the Role:
The Warehouse Supervisor plays a critical role in overseeing daily warehouse operations to ensure efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods within the transportation and warehousing industry. This position is responsible for managing warehouse staff, optimizing workflow processes, and maintaining safety and compliance standards to support overall supply chain effectiveness. The Warehouse Supervisor will coordinate with logistics, inventory control, and transportation teams to meet operational targets and customer expectations. Minimum Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in warehouse operations, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
- Basic knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control procedures.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in warehouse environments.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with transportation and warehousing industry standards and compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in advanced warehouse management software and data analysis tools.
- Certification in forklift operation and warehouse safety training.

Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate daily activities of warehouse personnel to ensure timely and accurate processing of shipments and inventory management.
- Monitor and enforce compliance with safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
- Oversee inventory control procedures, including cycle counts, stock replenishment, and discrepancy resolution.
- Collaborate with logistics and transportation teams to schedule inbound and outbound shipments efficiently.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate warehouse staff performance to foster a productive and motivated team.
- Maintain accurate records of warehouse operations and prepare regular reports on productivity, inventory levels, and safety incidents.
- Identify operational bottlenecks and implement process improvements to enhance workflow and reduce costs.
