POSITION OVERVIEW
The Business Director – Germany is a senior leadership position responsible for the overall operational, commercial, and strategic performance of the German business entity within a global heavy industrial projects organization. The role carries full accountability for business unit leadership, including profit and loss performance, project execution excellence, organizational development, and sustainable market growth.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead and develop the German business unit with full operational & commercial oversight
- Drive P&L performance and ensure sustainable growth
- Oversee execution of complex heavy industrial projects
- Strengthen project governance, risk management and operational discipline
- Build and lead high-performing technical and project teams
- Support international collaboration across global operations
- Develop strategic relationships with key clients in heavy industry sectors
QUALIFICATIONS
- Proven experience leading a business unit or major project division within heavy industry
- Experience operating in complex EPC or industrial project environments
- Demonstrated P&L responsibility
- Solid operational leadership track record
- Engineering background preferred
- Fluency in German and English required
