Job Summary:
The Greenhouse restaurant is seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Food Runner to support restaurant operations by ensuring accurate and timely delivery of food from the kitchen to guests. The Food Runner plays a critical role in maintaining service flow, upholding presentation standards, and enhancing the overall dining experience through teamwork and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver food orders from the kitchen to guests promptly and accurately

  • Verify each dish against the ticket to ensure order accuracy, modifications, and presentation standards

  • Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers to maintain smooth service flow

  • Assist servers with table maintenance, including clearing plates and resetting tables as needed

  • Ensure food is served at proper temperatures and according to plating guidelines

  • Respond promptly to guest requests and relay additional needs to the appropriate server

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of service stations and expo areas

  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards

  • Support opening and closing side work duties as assigned

  • Assist with stocking supplies, condiments, and service items throughout the shift

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred

  • Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting preferred but not required

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

  • Basic understanding of food safety and sanitation standards

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods

  • Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
