About this position

Job Overview: 

The Parts Delivery Driver is responsible for preparing and delivering customer orders efficiently, ensuring accurate and timely deliveries while professionally interacting with customers and handling cores, returns, and warranties. They prioritize safe driving, adhere to traffic laws, use hands-free devices for communication, wear required PPE, follow safety protocols, and respond promptly to urgent requests from the parts and sales departments to support exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Preparing Parts Orders: Prepare and deliver customer orders efficiently, including assisting with order picking and packing the delivery truck. 
  • Deliveries: Ensure timely, accurate deliveries while interacting professionally with customers. 
  • Returns: Address customer requests to pick up cores, returns, and warranty items during delivery runs. 
  • Safe Driving: Maintain a strong focus on safe driving practices, following all traffic laws and regulations. Use hands-free devices when communicating via phone to ensure safety and compliance. 
  • Safety: Where all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and follow customers safety protocols. 
  • Customer Service Requests: Be responsive to urgent requests from the parts and sales departments to provide exceptional customer service and operational support. 

Salary Information

$18 - $22 Hourly Wage

Requirements

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent. 
  • Experience: All relevant experience will be considered. Experience working at a heavy-duty aftermarket parts distribution or all makes dealership highly desired. 
  • Certifications and Skills: Fok lift certificate and experience operating a forklift highly desirable.  
  • Licenses and Compliance: Valid driver’s license; ability to pass pre-employment and random drug testing, and a pre-employment background check.
