Job Summary:
Kinseth Hospitality is currently seeking an Analyst to join our dynamic team located in Coralville, Iowa, to strategically align business objectives. The analyst will execute organizational initiatives in alignment with operational and financial performance goals and business objectives, along with assisting with various tasks associated with our ownership groups. Additionally, this position will provide technical expertise in the areas of building and enhancing various dashboards and strategically providing comprehensive data analytics to leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting with various property proformas
- Maintain and assist with the investor portal and associated fundraising; enhance the investor experience
- Trend and metric analysis
- Analyze data and make recommendations to various business stakeholders (operations, acquisitions, and other internal teams)
- Ad hoc reports as requested
- Development of budget planning tools
- Streamline and track monthly forecast reporting
- Develop best practices around forecasting for hotel teams to improve forecast accuracy
- Coordination of new hotel historical data into the various reporting systems
- ROI analysis on renovations and revenue enhancement projects
- Assist with data on the transition of hotels
- Assist other departments with various reporting needs
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Undergraduate degree in the area of data science, finance, accounting, math, engineering, or a related field is strongly preferred
- Ability to manage the creation of thoughtful analytical reports from source and transaction data
- Strong technical skills in business intelligence and accounting systems
- Ability to work smart in a fast-paced, growing, entrepreneurial organization
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office required.
- Expert capability in Excel and Power BI required.
Physical and Environmental Conditions:
- Standard office environment, requiring considerable time spent working on a computer.
- May require extended hours during month-end or year-end closing periods.
- Located in the Coralville, IA office, minimal travel required
